DESCRIPTION:Our second Coffee Connections event is focused on developing shared language and common understanding of advocacy and civic engagement. It will kick off a long-term conversation on how we can best serve our communities by uplifting their health policy priorities to elected officials\, decision makers\, and government at all levels to improve public health. This session will dive into practical tactics to create an advocacy framework and learn best practices from experts in the field who have implemented these frameworks and have successfully established relationships and a presence with decision makers.
